Whether you are new to HISD, returning, or transferring within the District, we need all families to complete the Annual Student Information Update. It is a quick and easy form where you can update your student's contact details, health and medical information, and back-to-school consent forms- all in one place. This is required, so help us get Roberts to a 100% completion rate.

Updating your information also connects you to the ParentSquare platform. Sign in, and start receiving messages from both your child’s school and the District through text, email, or the app. If you’re having trouble signing in, please give our Family Connection Center a call at 713-556-7121.

Get ready for the International Festival! Host a country booth, participate in the fashion show, volunteer! Save the date for Friday, October 17th and email internationalfestival@robertspto.org with questions or interest.

We will have an information meeting in the Roberts cafe on Wednesday, September 10th at 8:00am for anyone who would like to find out more about the festival. Sign ups for the talent show, fashion show, and volunteers coming soon!

Toast to the new school year with a PADRES happy hour this Thursday, September 11th!

Our Spaghetti Supper is this Friday September 12th at 6pm, come help us set up! We need help with setting up chairs and tables starting at 4pm - please sign up! Meet at the basketball court.

Join the Garden Committee Sunday September 14th as they prepare the vegetable beds for fall planting. Get your Mustangs interested in where their food comes from and all the resources needed to grow food. Bring a coffee mug & gardening gear, RSVP here if you have not already!

We’re excited to invite parents to join their child for lunch starting Monday, September 22nd! To ensure safety, parents must be VIPS cleared before attending. We encourage you to make this a fun, special occasion or a surprise treat for your child, rather than a daily routine. Please reach out to your child’s teacher for the scheduled time of his/her lunch.

Buzzing with excitement, my name is Ms. Bishop. I am a 12 year kindergarten teacher. I have spent the last two years in the Dallas area training teachers on building meaningful relationships with their students. I am so excited to BEE back in Houston and back in the classroom with my favorite people in the whole wide world.... Kindergarteners!

As a military brat I grew up in many different places. I was born in England and love to travel. I also have an obsession with bumblebees and plan on becoming a beekeeper once I retire. I enjoy spending time with friends and family including my one-year-old nephew who I'm obsessed with. I love laughing to rewatched episodes of "The Office" and my favorite movie is "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory." I am BEE-yond excited to join the Roberts family and look forward to creating memories with your students.

Roberts Soccer is back! Roberts' soccer coaches are looking for dedicated 4th and 5th grade boys and girls student athletes who are willing to make a maximum effort in both the classroom and on the soccer field. Tryouts are on Wednesday, September 24th.

What I love about Roberts
Roberts feels like a home away from home. I have a 4th grader (Reza) and 2nd grader (Zahra) this year! The diversity of the students and staff is what makes our school strong. The wonderful events and the welcoming community leave a lasting impact on anyone that experiences the school!

Why am I involved in the PTO
I started getting involved in the PTO during COVID when no one was allowed to enter the school except for PTO members. Then I realized the value I could add to the school and how beneficial it was for me to keep connected. Let’s just say I was hooked!

What is the Welcome Committee
The Welcome Committee is responsible for the Class Coffee Socials at the beginning of the year, as well as the Kindergarten RoundUp towards the end of the year. We are always here to answer questions than any new parents have!

What advice would you give to new parents at Roberts
Get involved, and get involved early! The dividends of getting involved early are larger for both you and your kids! Plus you might make a bestie in the PTO like I did!

Come volunteer in the Roberts workroom, where we make copies so teachers don’t have to (as much)!

• Flexible schedule: Whether you have 30 minutes a month or an afternoon a week, you can help anytime 8 a.m.–5 p.m. weekdays.
• Instant gratification: Push a button, check a box, something’s done!
• Direct impact: When we do the easy things, staff has more time to do the hard things.

The Roberts Auction Soirée is a super-fun event that includes fancy outfits, delicious food, a bar for those who partake, dancing, a casino, tarot readers, a fabulous evening celebrating our incredible community at Roberts, and an incredible auction with activities for kids, families, and wonderful items to be won! Proceeds raised make up a third of the PTO budget, so you make a direct difference while enjoying a globetrotting-themed event! Join us for the fun, stay for the friends, help us put the FUN in fundraising!

The school directory is a great way to contact parents for playdates, parties, and class events! If you have a student at Roberts, your name and email address will be in the directory, unless you opt out online.
