With your support, traditional special year-end events have been planned

to celebrate the hard work our 5th graders have put in over the years

and to recognize the important people & friendships along the way. 

More specific event details to come closer to event dates

from Committee Chairs, Teachers, Administration, and/or Parent Square messages.

We are going to have a slide show during the promotion ceremony with baby/toddler and current pictures of each student. Please submit your pictures by May 15th!  Any submissions after that, or duplicate submissions will be on a best efforts basis.

MEMORY MORNING   THURSDAY, MAY 28 - during school Roberts Cafeteria   Each 5th grader will receive an 8x10 class photo in a keepsake mat to be signed by their classmates.  Donuts will be served.   This is a student-only event during school hours.         5TH GRADE DANCE   FRIDAY, MAY 29 @ 6-8 PM Roberts Cafeteria     Theme: Disco Fun! Costumes optional. Snacks & drinks will be served.    5TH GRADERS ONLY!  This is a student only drop-off event (Circle Dr). Adults & siblings may NOT attend. There will be parent and admin chaperones.

 

PROMOTION CEREMONY     MONDAY, JUNE 1 @ 6 PM  Pershing Middle School Auditorium Doors open 5:45pm for students

WATER DAY    TUESDAY, JUNE 2 @ 11 AM-1 PM Roberts Grounds     WHAT TO EXPECT/BRING   Our 5th graders will enjoy a fun-filled, outdoor day! Activities include water slides & yard games.   PIZZA LUNCH will be served. Students are welcome to bring their own lunch or buy lunch from the cafeteria.     5th Grade Students: COME DRESSED in your swim attire. Girls: T-Shirt & shorts MUST be worn on top of swimsuit. Boys: swim shorts & t-shirt. T-shirt and shorts/pants must be worn the entire time. No sheer or see thru cover-ups.  Apply sunscreen at home Students who do not follow the dress code outlined above will not be allowed to participate.     PACK the following: towel, change of clothes (including underwear), shoes that can get wet, a plastic bag for wet clothes after changing *No games or toys from home!                  KONA ICE SOCIAL   WEDNESDAY, June 3 @ 1:30 PM Roberts Grounds     5th graders will chill together before becoming Roberts alumni!                  VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES     Help is needed for all these events and very much appreciated.   VOLUNTEER HERE   Must be VIPS-approved   Questions: FifthGrade@RobertsPTO.org       KEEP IN TOUCH!       Email addresses currently on file and used for 5th grade notifications will be saved for future reunions.     Thank you for supporting our 5th Grade Class of 2026!
