But BEFORE We Go, LET'S HAVE SOME FUN!

 

In order to make our 5th grade traditions possible, we need to raise money to pay for them!

to celebrate the hard work our 5th graders have put in over the years

and to recognize the important people & friendships along the way.

MEMORY MORNING
 

THURSDAY, MAY 29 - during school

Roberts Cafeteria

 

Each 5th grader will receive a framed class photo to be signed by their classmates.
 Donuts will be served.
 
This is a student-only event during school hours. 
 
 
 
 
 5TH GRADE SNEAKER BALL
 

FRIDAY, MAY 29 @ 6-8 PM

Roberts Cafeteria

 

 

Theme: Fun! Costumes optional.
Dinner, snacks, & drinks will be served. 
 
5TH GRADERS ONLY! 
This is a drop-off event (Circle Dr).
Adults & siblings may NOT attend.

PROMOTION CEREMONY 

 

MONDAY, JUNE 1 @ 6 PM

Pershing Middle School

 
 

Join us as we recognize & promote our 5th grade students.

Wishing them a warm farewell as they begin their journey through middle school and beyond.  

 

Light refreshments served after the ceremony.   

 

IMPORTANT:  Students report to Pershing Auditorium at 6pm! 

Allow ample time for parking.  Ceremony begins at 6:15pm.

 

Family is welcome but seating is limited!  

Reserved Seating only for our students, administration, Culture of Giving & Auction Winners

 

 

 
 

 
 
WATER DAY 
 

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 3 @ 11 AM-1 PM

Roberts Grounds

 
 
WHAT TO EXPECT/BRING

 

Our 5th graders will enjoy a fun-filled, outdoor day!

Activities include water slides, slip-n-slide, & yard games.

 

PIZZA LUNCH will be served.

Students are welcome to bring their own lunch or buy lunch from the cafeteria.

 

 

5th Grade Students: COME DRESSED in your swim attire.

  • Girls: T-Shirt & shorts MUST be worn on top of swimsuit.
  • Boys: swim shorts & t-shirt.
  • T-shirt and shorts/pants must be worn the entire time. No sheer or see thru cover-ups. 
  • Apply sunscreen at home

Students who do not follow the dress code outlined above will not be allowed to participate.

 

 

PACK the following:

towel, change of clothes (including underwear), shoes that can get wet,

a plastic bag for wet clothes after changing

*No games or toys from home!

    

 

 

END OF YEAR CLASS PARTIES begin around 1:30pm.

That is a separate event, hosted by the individual parents in each class.
