WELCOME TO THE FIFTH GRADE PAGE!

With your 5th Grade dues contribution the Roberts PTO is able to provide each 5th grader

a special 5th grade t-shirt, a 5th grade dance,

and many end of elementary school celebratory events.

These traditional special year-end events will be planned

to celebrate the hard work our 5th graders have put in over the years

and to recognize the important people & friendships along the way.

Each 5th grader is included in these events regardless of their dues contribution payment.

However, there is a suggested contribution to help us cover these costs.

We greatly appreciate your contribution.

UPCOMING CLASS OF 2027 5TH GRADE EVENTS

5TH GRADE DANCE

FRIDAY, MAY 14, 2027 @ 6-8 PM

Roberts Cafeteria

Food, snacks & drinks will be served.

5TH GRADERS ONLY!

This is a student only drop-off event (Circle Dr).

Admin & Chaperones will walk kids to cafe.

Adults & siblings may NOT attend.

There will be parent and admin chaperones.

At 8pm, park and walk to Circle Drive.

When you are there, Admin will call your child from the cafe to Circle Drive doors.

No official dress code but look nice!

PROMOTION CEREMONY

MONDAY, MAY 24, 2027 @ 6 PM

Pershing Middle School Auditorium

Doors open 5:45pm for students

Student may wear dresses, skirts, pants, Khakis, polo shirts, or button down shorts. Please no jeans, sweatpants, or shorts. Comfortable dress shoes or clean sneakers are recommended as students will be walking across the stage.

There will be light refreshments in the Pershing Lobby following ceremony.

We are going to have a slide show during the promotion ceremony with baby/toddler and current pictures of each student. Please submit your pictures by May 1st! Any submissions after that, or duplicate submissions will be included on a best efforts basis.

Each 5th grader will receive an 8x10 class photo in a keepsake mat to be signed by their classmates.

Donuts will be served.

This is a student-only event during school hours.

WHAT TO EXPECT/BRING

Our 5th graders will enjoy a fun-filled, outdoor day!

Activities include water slides & yard games.

Pizza LUNCH will be served.

Students are welcome to bring their own lunch or buy lunch from the cafeteria.

5th Grade Students: Come to school dressed in your swim attire.

Girls: T-Shirt & shorts MUST be worn on top of swimsuit.
Boys: swim shorts & t-shirt.
T-shirt and shorts must be worn the entire time. No sheer or see thru cover-ups.
Apply sunscreen at home.

Students who do not follow the dress code outlined above will not be allowed to participate.

PACK the following:

Towel, change of clothes (including underwear), shoes that can get wet,

a plastic bag for wet clothes after changing

*No games or toys from home!*
