IN THIS ISSUE

Dear Roberts Families,

To ensure you are receiving timely and important information from our campus, please take a moment to view this video tutorial on how to adjust your notification settings in ParentSquare. The video is also embedded in the Front Page following this message.

Within ParentSquare, you may choose how and when you receive messages:

  • Instant Notifications – Messages are delivered to you as soon as they are posted.
  • Digest Notifications – Messages are bundled together and delivered at the end of the day.

As ParentSquare serves as our primary mode of communication for school updates, classroom information, reminders, and important announcements, it is essential that your notification settings align with how promptly you would like to receive information.

To remain informed in real time, I strongly recommend selecting "Instant Notifications". This setting ensures that you receive time-sensitive updates as they occur and helps us maintain clear, efficient communication between home and school.

Thank you for your continued partnership and for taking a few moments to review your settings to support strong communication throughout the school year.

LIS HARPER - AUCTION

Howdy! I’m Lis Harper, and I joined the Auction Committee three years ago when my oldest, Rebecca, started at Roberts. Full disclosure: I came for the early sneak peek at the auction items (Pro Tip 😉). I stayed because I found my ride-or-die mom crew — love you forever, BossBabes 💖. My husband Adam and I moved to the neighborhood when I was pregnant with Rebecca in 2017, and we added Miriam to our family in 2021. She's only 4 but asks every day when she can go to Roberts.

We're so lucky to be part of the Roberts community and grateful to all of you for your dedication to the school. From library and computer lab renovations to addressing the indignities of age, you all get it. We can party like rockstars while investing in the future for our kids and those who follow. For me, the Auction Committee is a total labor of love — emphasis on love. It's a party with a purpose rather than actual work.

I can’t wait to see you at this year’s Auction Soirée! And if you’re looking for a fun way to get involved (with excellent perks and people), join us next year. We’ll save you a seat. 💃✨
