FROM THE PTO PRESIDENT: WHAT A YEAR FOR THE ROBERTS PTO

It’s been an incredible year for Roberts Elementary and the Roberts PTO! We have hosted some amazing events, including our annual Roberts Auction, the vibrant International Festival, and the always exciting Fun Run. In addition to these community-building celebrations, we’ve proudly supported our teachers and staff through lunches, building and grounds maintenance, and classroom supplies.

As we approach the end of the school year, we’re gearing up for one more big event—the Roberts Carnival this Sunday from noon–4 p.m! This is one of our most beloved traditions, and we’re expecting a fantastic turnout from our Roberts families and community.

We need your help to make it a success! Please consider volunteering for just one hour by signing up here.

Don’t forget to purchase your wristbands and tickets in advance, lines will be long and we’re expecting a full house!

As I wrap up my term as your PTO President, I want to say what an honor it’s been to serve this amazing community. I’ll still be involved as Past President and a member of the Executive Board, and I’m excited to continue working alongside our incoming PTO President, Michelle Wan. Please join me in giving her a warm welcome!

Looking ahead, we have some exciting summer projects in the works, including upgrades to our computer lab and staff lounge, new outdoor lighting, and a much-needed solution for fourth grade storage.

We’ve got a few weeks left in the school year—let’s finish strong, Roberts!

With gratitude,

Wafa Taiym

PTO President
