ROBERTS IS A CULTURE OF GIVING

Do you like having nice grounds? Playground? Constable? HPD Officer? Trophy Cases? New Library? New Computer Lab? THE PTO FUNDS ALL THESE THINGS AND HUNDREDS MORE! Donate TODAY to the Culture of Giving! The Roberts Community is a generous and supportive place - let's show Roberts what YOU can do to help!

Congratulations to Ms. Lamont's and Ms. Waterman's class for winning our week 1 contest - they've earned donuts for the class and water bottles for the teachers!
For week 2 it will be Grade Levels Unite! The entire grade level with the highest increase in participation will earn a special surprise snack during recess. And there will be a BONUS competition this week - if we reach our $145,000 goal by Friday at 11:59 pm, we'll also have a special surprise snack during recess for the runner up grade level with the second highest increase in participation. We can do it, Roberts Elementary!

ANNUAL STUDENT UPDATE

Parents, please ensure you have completed HISD's Annual Student Update form. Roberts strives to meet the district goal of 100% completion by September 30th, 2026. Click or scan the code below to complete your student's information.

If you completed the Annual Student Update prior to August 10th, please complete it again- the district updated the forms with more information after the start of the school year.

ROBERTS MATH CLUB

We are excited to offer Math Club to our 4th and 5th grade students! Math Club is designed for students who enjoy challenging themselves mathematically, applying problem-solving strategies, and thinking creatively as mathematicians. Due to limited space, students interested in joining Math Club will need to complete this form and participate in a tryout process- held Friday September 18th in the Roberts Café.

Tryout Details: tryouts will consist of a rigorous math assessment designed to provide students with opportunities to demonstrate both their mathematical understanding and their ability to approach and solve complex problems. Student selection will be based on a combination of their overall assessment performance and demonstrated problem-solving abilities.

Math Club Tryouts Form
Date: Friday September 18th
Time: 3:00 – 4:00 PM

Location: Roberts Café
Who: Interested students in 4th and 5th Grades for a total of 40 students will be selected to participate in Math Club

  • 20 fourth-grade students
  • 20 fifth-grade students

Our goal is to create a Math Club that provides students with opportunities to stretch their mathematical thinking, collaborate with other students, develop perseverance, and engage in challenging and meaningful problem-solving experiences. We look forward to seeing our 4th and 5th grade mathematicians showcase their thinking at tryouts!
