WHAT IS THE AUCTION AND GALA?
On February 25, 2023, Roberts Elementary PTO is excited to host our Casino Royale Auction and Gala at Rice University's Cohen House! It will be a fun-filled evening with dinner, Vegas-style gaming (for fun), and silent auctions for items, Roberts family parties, and school perks. The Auction and Gala are held annually every spring to raise funds for Roberts Elementary School to support its students, teachers, and staff.
Funds that you help raise support programs such as IB teacher training, student supplies for science lab, student newspaper, school safety equipment (HEPA filters), and student garden. In other words, funds raised by the Auction will benefit every student, every day at Roberts Elementary School.
HOW YOU CAN HELP!
OPTION #1: HOST A PARTY FOR PARENTS ONLY OR FOR KIDS OR BOTH! (Past Examples: Pool Party for 3rd Graders, Wine Tasting with Moms, Outdoor BBQ Dinner for 20)
We will auction off parties hosted by Roberts families--many of the parties hosted by Roberts families have become sought-after traditions--The Pedal Party, WWDC, Wine Tasting, Dinners celebrating culinary traditions from around the world and more!
The parties are a significant source of our fundraising efforts and a great opportunity to mingle with old friends and new. The money raised helps us provide top notch learning opportunities, invest in technology improvements, offer teacher trainings, maintain our IB status, make school repairs, and so much more.
We need grade parties for all levels, as well as a wide-range of adult and family parties - themed, or not, for kids, adults only, moms/dads only - you decide! Host on your own, or team up with others.
