Friday, May 22, at the Rice University Track & Field Stadium
Gates open at 4:00 pm
Races begin at 4:30 pm and will run through 6:30 pm
Who is the fastest boy and girl in each grade?
We are so excited to be back at the Rice University track again! The Mustang Rally is Robert Elementary's annual footrace. Students race by grade and gender - one lap around the track (400 m, or a quarter mile). Everyone who finishes will receive a medal; 1st, 2nd & 3rd place ribbons will be awarded in each race division. We will begin promptly with Kindergarten girls at 4:30 and end with Fifth Grade boys.

The registration fee of $25 will help cover the cost of the t-shirts, finisher medals, and track rental. Parent volunteers needed to time races and help with set up/clean up.

Please note, registrations will be accepted until May 8, but T-Shirt sizes are NOT guaranteed after May 1. Extra shirts will be assigned on a first come, first serve basis AFTER May 1.
**T-Shirts will be distributed to your student's classroom the week of May 4th. Please have your student pack or wear their shirt to school the day of the race (Friday, May 22). Late registrants may receive their T-Shirt after the race. **
Race registration "scholarships" are available. Please inquire with Coach Montoya. Qualifying students will be able to register at no cost.
