We are $40,000 short of our goal to raise $110,000.  This money is critical to our school operating budget, funding our campus maintenance, curriculum enrichment, and teacher appreciation.  FunRun participation makes Roberts Elementary the special school that we all love.

What is the Roberts Fun Run? 


 

Please mark your calendars for March 21st - April 5th, during which time students will gather pledges from family and friends for every lap they run at the end of the two week pledging period. 

 

Please help your student prepare by registering now at funrun.com using 873-763.  Then make a list of at least 10 people your student can reach out to during the pledging period.  

 

Fun Run Dates:

  • Student and Teacher Registration, March 8th
  • Pledge Period, March 21st-April 5th
  • Fun Run, April 5th!

 

This schedule is subject to change and will send a final version with the hours that each class will run.

 

This year’s theme is GRAND LAND ADVENTURE; a national parks theme all about building character through the rugged beauty and wild wonders of the great outdoors. By exploring some of the most iconic national parks in America, students will learn how to live a life of adventure and character.

 

What will the money we raise support?  

More Usable Outdoor Space for Faculty, Students & Families!  

With the removal of our beloved tree, we lost the surrounding deck and seating area and all the shade that once made up our 5th grade space. We will use Fun Run money to install Playground Shade Sails.

There are various volunteer opportunities available, including roles such as Fun Run Class Coordinator, Daily Reward Coordinator, and general Fun Run Volunteers. All volunteers must be VIPS approved.

Please consider signing up for a volunteer role using the following links:

  • Fun Run Class Coordinator (1 per class): The Fun Run Classroom Coordinator is a critical role to the success of our 2024 Fun Run! Each class will have one coordinator that will support the teacher from preparation, to kick-off, through the campaign, and on the day-of the event.

  • Daily Reward Coordinator (2 per grade): The Fun Run Daily Reward Coordinator will assist in the sorting and distribution of daily reward incentives to each grade during the Fun Run. Meet each day of the Fun Run campaign at 8am to prepare rewards for your assigned grade and deliver to classrooms.

  • Fun Run Volunteers (many!): It is "all hands on deck" to host the Fun Run on April 5th!   Sign up for set-up, clean-up, entertainment, and water station.
