Hello Roberts families! My name is Haley Forrest, and this is my fifth year as the speech therapist at Roberts! 

I was born and raised in Austin, Texas, and graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a B.S. in Communication Sciences and Disorders. I started with HISD after earning my master’s degree in Communication Disorders, and I feel incredibly thankful to have landed at Roberts. My goal is to support children’s ability to communicate with confidence and honor their unique needs. It’s a privilege to foster children’s voices and senses of self as they master different speech sounds, learn new vocabulary, and advocate for their needs. 

When not at school, I love spending time with friends and family, walking my dogs, baking, and planning my next hiking trip. I’m excited for another joyful year ahead! Thank you for letting me be a small part of the amazing Roberts community!

Running Club practices will occur every Monday and Friday at 6:45 a.m. except for on school holidays. We require all runners to register and request a $30 donation for each child to help cover t-shirt and special event costs such as the Mustang Rally at the end of the year. We recommend that you send your runner with a water bottle and a towel for practice.
