Yes, please! We've had parents teach classes on everything from cooking to tennis and lead students and parents on learning adventures. Business owners and professionals often give in-kind services, and everyone loves a bidding war on a massage, facial, or other luxury service. If you have a donation, service, or skill to offer, please reach out to auctiondonations@robertspto.org or fill out this form.

Calling all sleepyheads! Support the 5th Grade Fundraiser by buying a wristband and wear your pajamas to school! PJ Day is Thursday, October 8th. Wristbands will be on sale before school October 7th and 8th from 7:15–7:30 AM at the drop off gates.

An important reminder that early pick up ends promptly at 2:30PM. If you need to sign your child out early, parents should email both their child's teacher and res@houstonisd.onmicrosoft.com to make them aware. Always arrive at least 5 - 10 minutes early in case there are delays due to students being at recess, lunch, or ancillary.

Thank you to all of the volunteers who have helped our Roberts library be successful! The library is always looking for volunteers! If you are interested in volunteering and are new to the crew or have been unable to attend a training refresher yet, please make a note during sign up so that we can be sure to have someone on hand to walk you through the shelving system.

Looking for other ways to support the library? Our librarian Mrs. Nelson has updated the Maker's Space wishlist to reflect the creative wishes of our Roberts students. We are so grateful for all of the support the community at Roberts is able to provide to help make our library as wonderful as it is!

As we prepare for a successful school year, we encourage families who plan to volunteer on campus, chaperone a field trip, or have lunch with their childto register or renew their registrationwith HISD Volunteers in Public Schools (VIPS). Please note that background checks can take several weeks to process, so we encourage you to complete the application as soon as possible.

VIPS approval does not roll over from one school year to the next, so all volunteers must complete a new application each school year after Aug 10. The HISD volunteer handbook can be found here.

Want to volunteer but can't commit to joining a specific committee? Just want to put up canopies or take down signs? Join the Roberts REady Volunteer What's App group! We will post general needs for volunteers or needs for help. WE ARE ROBERTS READY!
