The International Festival is coming up on Friday, October 17th 4:00-6:30pm! There are many ways to participate and help out, sign up below!

The Scholastic Book Fair begins the week of October 27th- an important reminder that the Book Fair is a CASHLESS event, so your student must have an EWallet set up to shop during the school day! Click below to learn more and complete set up.

REGISTRATION IS HERE! Join the PADRES and Roberts PTO Friday November 14th to camp out under the stars on the lawn and field at Roberts Elementary! Camp Out will include activities, Friday dinner and snacks, Saturday breakfast, and a Camp Out t-shirt for kids. Adult volunteers will also receive a Camp Out shirt. Spaces are limited so register your campers today!

Hello Roberts Elementary Family! I’m Kaitlyn Cooper, and I’m so excited to be joining the Roberts community as your new Speech Therapist. 

I recently moved to Houston! I earned both my Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Communication Sciences and Disorders from California State University, Chico. I am passionate about supporting students as they build their communication skills and discover the power of their voices. Whether it's helping a child say their first word, improve their speech clarity, or express themselves more effectively in the classroom, I believe every step forward is worth celebrating.

In my work, I focus on creating a fun, supportive, and individualized environment where students feel safe to learn and grow. I collaborate closely with teachers and families to ensure each child’s needs are met and progress is shared.

Outside of work, I enjoy exploring new places and spending time with my friends and family. I’m looking forward to getting to know our amazing students and families and making this school year a great one!

Calling all sleepyheads! Purchase a wristband for $1 and wear your PJs to school on Friday October 24th! Wristbands will be available to purchase at morning drop off gates on Thursday October 23rd and Friday October 24th. Proceeds go towards 5th Grade Fundraiser.

Scholastic Book Fair is coming to the RE Library the week of October 27th through 31st and we need volunteers! Come set up, work a register, assist the kids with shopping, read to the littles, or help pack up at the end of the week.

Fifth Grade Parents - this is OUR YEAR! We may have started Kindergarten online, but we are finishing this last year at Roberts with positive vibes and end-of-the year trips and events. In order to fund the fun, please donate drinks and snacks to the Fifth Grade Concession Stand so our kids can sell and earn their fun--first selling event is the International Festival! Sign up here to donate.

Roberts Running club practices have begun! This year, practices will be held every Friday- except during school holidays and workdays. The last day to register your runner for running club is this Friday October 17th, so if you haven’t signed up yet, the time is now! Registration can be found here.

Dancers, here's a great opportunity to check out the award winning Lanier Dance Program at their Junior Dance Clinic. Come participate in a morning dance workshop November 15th! My name is Catalina Pastore and I am a parent of five, who all went through Roberts Elementary. We are currently on our last year at Roberts with our youngest!

For the past almost 18 years at Roberts, the International Festival has been the highlight of the year for us. So many countries are involved and represented, including mine which is Mexico! I don’t think that there is any other school that does the International Festival like Roberts.

I love volunteering for the international festival! My most favorite part of being at Roberts for so many years has to be the families, our parents, and our community- we make it happen at Roberts Elementary.
