A special shout out to our rockstar principal, Trealla Epps who was named HISD Central Division Principal of the Year for 2024 - 2025 and is one of only twelve finalists for Principal of the Year out of 273 campuses in HISD. We all know that she is the best of the best and we are ecstatic that the rest of the city does too! Congratulations Ms. Epps!

Whether you are new to HISD, returning, or transferring within the District, we need all families to complete the Annual Student Information Update. It is a quick and easy form where you can update your student's contact details, health and medical information, and back-to-school consent forms- all in one place. This is required, so help us get Roberts to a 100% completion rate.

Hello Roberts Family! My name is Auja Norman, and I am so excited to be teaching 5^th grade Reading and social studies this year at Roberts Elementary.  

This will be my 16^th year in the classroom and my sixth-year teaching 5^th Grade. My family and I moved to Houston this summer and we are looking forward to exploring our new home. Though I was born in Florida, I have lived and travelled all over the United States spending many years in Colorado and California. I am a graduate of The Florida State University where I ran track and field (Go Nole's). I am passionate about education and the philosophy of educating the whole child. 

We are going to have a fantastic year together and I am so happy to be a part of this amazing community.

Proceeds raised make up a third of the PTO budget, so you make a direct difference while enjoying a globetrotting-themed event! Roberts Soccer is back! Roberts' soccer coaches are looking for dedicated 4th and 5th grade boys and girls student athletes who are willing to make a maximum effort in both the classroom and on the soccer field. Tryouts are on Wednesday, September 24th.

Hello everyone! My name is Ana Hübbe, and I’m the proud mom of Emilia (5th grade) and Maria (4th grade). This is now our second year both in Houston and at Roberts, and we couldn’t be happier. My husband, JP, joined Texas Children’s Hospital, which brought our family here from Mexico City. A big move that completely changed our lives.

We couldn’t be more grateful to have landed at Roberts. The experience has been truly amazing for us, from the incredible diversity to the warmest and most welcoming community. We feel so lucky and thankful to be here, and we know this is exactly where we’re meant to be.

I’m a graphic designer, and this year I’m excited to be working with Lindsay on the front page. We’ve made some updates and changes; we hope you enjoy them!

Thank you all for being the school, friends, and community we were dreaming of!
