FROM THE PRINCIPAL: VOLUNTEER APPRECIATION AND FIELD TRIP CLARIFICATION

Dear Roberts families,

I want to start by expressing my sincere gratitude for your involvement and support of our school community. Your time, effort, and dedication—whether through volunteering, participating in events, or supporting from home—make a significant impact on our students' success. While we understand that every family may contribute in different ways, every act of involvement is valuable and appreciated.

I’d also like to take a moment to clarify how field trip chaperones are selected, as there has been some confusion. Teachers and school administration are responsible for selecting chaperones. Depending on the number of spots available, parents may sign up on a first-come, first-served basis through a link provided by the teacher, or specific parents may be invited to attend. Ultimately, these decisions are made by the teacher and campus administration to best support the needs of the trip.

I apologize for any previous miscommunication and hope this provides clarity. We deeply appreciate all our parent volunteers and encourage everyone to get involved in any way they can to support our students and school.

Thank you for being such an important part of the Roberts community!
