It’s that time of year when colds, flu, COVID, and stomach bugs are more common. Please help us keep everyone safe and healthy by watching for any symptoms your child might be experiencing. Keep in mind that students who have a fever should stay home until they are fever-free for 24 hours without medication.

A big thank you to all the families who send their children to school with masks when they have mild symptoms like coughing due to allergies but are not contagious.

Please complete the Intent to Return Form to help Roberts anticipate student enrollment for the 2025–26 academic year. The form should be completed for ALL currently enrolled students in grades kindergarten through 4th, whether they will be returning or not.

Parents, if your child will be observing Ramadan and fasting during lunchtime, kindly complete this form to assist us in making the necessary accommodations for your child during this period of observance. Thank you!

The Fun Run is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 28 due to weather. Feb. 28 is also Go Texan Day! Roberts will celebrate Go Texan Day on Thursday, Feb. 27. Students are welcome to wear their Go Texan Day gear on Thursday instead, or students may choose to run in their Texan gear or their class-themed outfit on Friday for Fun Run. 

The Roberts event of the year is almost here—Mar. 1! Tickets are selling fast, so grab yours and join us for a night of food, open bar, casino games, and fun, all to fund a NEW COMPUTER LAB for our students! Can't attend? Bid remotely or sponsor a teacher. Every little bit counts!

The PTO Nominating Committee for the 2024–25 school year will meet in March to review the candidates for the 2025–26 school year. The members of this year’s committee are:

General PTO members: 

• Lindsay Howard, kindergartners

Michelle Wan, President-elect (2nd and 4th graders), and Wafa Taiym, President (kinder, 3rd, and 5th graders), will serve in an advisory capacity.

Roberts Elementary is hosting school tours for prospective K–5 students. Tours run from 9–10 a.m.; all participants must check in with valid ID by 8:55 a.m.
